This is our third health and housing focused event which aims to help promote and understand the benefits of health, housing and social care working in partnership. We will learn from experts and those in the field on the issues and challenges they face as they introduce innovation and change and Identify how partners can scale up innovation to create healthy places and build healthy communities in their own settings.

Stuart has had a significant role in the development of the Greater Manchester partnership working for health and wellbeing, as well as leading the commissioning for social care, health and wellbeing and the implementation of the new health and wellbeing board at Wigan Council. Stuart is also the North West Regional chair for ADASS.

Closing Address: Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester
Andy was elected as Mayor of Greater Manchester in May 2017. Prior to this he was MP for Leigh from 2001. In government, Andy has held Ministerial positions at the Home Office, Department of Health and the Treasury. In 2008 he became Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, before returning to Health as Secretary of State in 2009. In opposition, Andy has served as Shadow Education Secretary, Shadow Health Secretary and Shadow Home Secretary.
